Caught In The Act, Part II The Best Onstage Pix Of '01
from: cdnow.com
(Cherry) Bombs Away: The RUNAWAYS are arguably the most rockin' "girl group" of our time, and the reunion of JOAN JETT (left) and Cherie Currie (right) in August proved that once again. Performing together at the Sun Theater in Anaheim, Calif., marked the first time the two RUNAWAYS appeared onstage in 24 years. The twosome led Jett's BLACKHEARTS through a charged rendition of "Cherry Bomb," a hit in the '70s for the group. But, the real bomb dropped when the song ended with an amorous kiss between Jett and Currie. (photo by Troy J. Augusto)
