The rock icons will be joined by The Living End, Diesel, Richard Clapton and Chocolate Starfish.
Tickets for the tour are priced from $109.90 and go on sale Thursday.
The tour stretches over January and February, starting January 12 at Mary Ann Reserve in Mannum, South Australia, then January 13 at Sandalford Wines in Swan Valley WA, January 19 at Mornington Racecourse in Victoria, January 26 at Country Club Lawns in Launceston, North Gardens in Ballarat on January 27, Roche Estate Hunter Valley in NSW February 2, Bella Vista Farm in Baulkham Hill NSW February 3 and Sandstone Point Hotel Bribie Island in Queensland February 9.
JOAN JETT, who turns 60 this year, continues to tour extensively with her band The BLACKHEARTS.
As well as their hits I Love Rock and Roll, Bad Reputation and Crimson and Clover, Jett also performs the classic Cherry Bomb from her former band The RUNAWAYS.
Jett last toured Australia on the Falls Festival in 2011.
Punters are warned to only buy tickets from Ticketmaster (or Ticketek in WA), not Viagogo or other third party sellers.
Promoter Duane McDonald sold out 10,000 tickets for his other summer event, One Electric Day, at Werribee Park on November 25 with Jimmy Barnes, the Angels, Ian Moss, Jon Stevens and more.
More series of Red Hot Summer Tours will be announced later this year. |
