Rock of Ages Original Broadway Cast Recording Set for Digital Release June 2, In Stores July 7

New Line Records will release the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the musical Rock of Ages, currently playing the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, digitally on June 2 and in stores on July 7.
Written by Chris D'Arienzo and directed by Kristin Hanggi, the musical focuses on a young rocker hungry for his big break and a small town girl who meet in 1987 at a legendary Hollywood club facing its imminent demise. The production was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The album was recorded in New York City on April 28 and 29, and mixed and engineered by Mike Barbiero and produced by David Gibbs, executive produced by Janet Billig Rich, Hillary Weaver and Kurt Deutsch/SH-K-BOOM Records and co-produced by Ethan Popp.
The cast includes Constantine Maroulis, Amy Spanger, James Carpinello, Adam Dannheisser, Mitchell Jarvis, Michele Mais, Lauren Molina, Paul Schoeffler, Wesley Taylor, Ericka Hunter, Jeremy Jordan, Michael Minarik, Angel Reed, Bahiyah Sayyed-Gaines, Katherine Tokarz, Andre Ward, Savannah Wise, Tad Wilson, and Jeremy Woodard.
The track list -- featuring 22 songs made famous originally by bands such as Journey, JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS, Bon Jovi, Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, and Whitesnake -- includes "Just Like Paradise / Nothin' But A Good Time," "Sister Christian," "We Built This City / Too Much Time On My Hands," "I Wanna Rock," "We're Not Gonna Take It," "Heaven / More Than Words / To Be With You," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Wanted Dead Or Alive," "I Want To Know What Love Is," "Cum On Feel The Noize / We're Not Gonna Take It (Reprise)," "Harden My Heart / Shadows Of The Night," "Here I Go Again," "The Final Countdown," "Any Way You Want It / I Wanna Rock (Reprise)," "High Enough," "I Hate Myself For Loving You / Heat Of The Moment," "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," "Can't Fight This Feeling," "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Oh Sherrie," "The Search Is Over," and "Don't Stop Believin'."
