Baron and his sidekick get their teeth into Vampires Rock
from: bucksherald.co.uk

low resolution image Not Enlargeable STEVE Steinman's Vampires Rock returns to Wycombe Swan on September 8, back by popular demand.

If you've not already been bitten by this smash-hit show, you will not have encountered the charismatic and extremely evil, Baron Von Rockula (Steve Steinman); you will not have met his beautiful victim Pandora (Emily Clark); and you most certainly will not have rocked to two hours of the most explosive rock anthems the world has ever seen, played live by the Baron's very own band, Hellbound Express.

But even if you have already crossed over to the dark side, there is still something you will not have seen, until now. This year there's a new vampire in town.

Accompanying Steve Steinman will be Twisted Sister's legendary guitarist Eddie 'Fingers' Ojeda.

Joining the cast of Vampires Rock for the 2007 Autumn/Winter tour, Eddie jokes: "Twisted Sister are only doing a handful of shows this year, so working with Steve on Vampires Rock is something I can really sink my teeth into. The show is full of great rock classics I can't wait to play, and of course I'm sure I'll be fitting in a Twisted Sister track or two."

Set in New York in the year 2030, Vampires Rock is a show like no other.

The undead are livelier than ever, none more so than in club 'Live and Let Die', where Pandora, an aspiring singer, arrives for an audition. Little does she know that she is not only auditioning to be the club's resident vocalist, but also to be the eternal bride of Baron Von Rockula. Cue a host a classic rock tracks and many laughs, as the Baron and his sidekick, Stringfellow (Mike Taylor), attempt to convince Pandora to lose her soul to rock and roll.

With an amazing stage set, pyrotechnics to blow your mind and songs from the likes of AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, JOAN JETT, Suzi Quatro and many more, Steve Steinman's Vampires Rock is guaranteed to have you on your feet (or on your knees with your air guitar above your head).

Tickets cost £18/£16 from the box office on 01494 512000 or visit www.wycombeswan.co.uk
