I Hate Myself For Loving You
The original riot girl, JOAN JETT was the poster girl for angry young women in the 80s. She formed her own punk/rock band The RUNAWAYS at 15, and was the first female singer to start her own label BLACKHEART RECORDS. Although she is better known for her bigger hit I Love Rock and Roll, (cruelly butchered by pop princess Britney Spears recently), this song rocks for its ironic lyrics, great guitar riffs and anger-venting potential.
