JOAN JETT appears THREE times in the March/April '03 issue of Women Who Rock magazine! Here are the highlights:
1) Live from New York! There is a full-page spread with a review of Joan's live benefit performance at New York City's China Club on January 30th, to benefit World Hunger Year, Inc. It includes a set list, exclusive concert photo and concert review.
2) HEAR ME ROAR! 25 Greatest GIRL-POWER Anthems of All Time! Joan clocks in at lucky number 8 with "Bad Reputation." It includes an 80s-era picture of Joan, as well as a spicy commentary on the song.
3) Artist Maya Price's letter about JOAN JETT--which was written in response to Rolling Stone magazine's "Women In Rock" issue--is reprinted in full glory, along with a biting editorial. You may remember that RS only allotted ONE SENTENCE to Joan, yet featured Britney Spears on the cover.
