The Mercury Records soundtrack to Detroit Rock City will hit stores on August 3rd and will include tracks by David Bowie, Marilyn Manson (covering AC/DC's "Highway to Hell"), Van Halen, Pantera (covering Ted Nugent's "Cat Scratch Fever"), Cheap Trick, the Donnas, and Black Sabbath, among others. The movie, which follows a group of Kiss fans that are trying to get into a 1978 sold-out Kiss concert, hits theatres on August 13th.
