Actress Gina Gershon ("Showgirls," "Face/Off") will star in the film "Prey for Rock & Roll" as the leader of an all-girl band trying to make it big in the Los Angeles rock'n'roll scene. The film also stars Jennifer Esposito ("Don't Say A Word"), Jane Adams ("The Anniversary Party"), Shelly Cole ("Gilmore Girls"), and Marc Blucas ("We Were Soldiers"), and veteran rocker JOAN JETT as herself.

Britney Spears to release "I Love Rock And Roll"

Britney Spears is to release her cover version of I Love Rock And Roll as a single. The song was a hit for JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS in 1981. Britney sings the song in a karaoke scene in her debut movie, Crossroads. She has been filming a video for the song in Los Angeles, her mother Lynne reports on Britney's official website.

The Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be Cleveland’s own Drew Carey. The evening will feature entertainment including, but not limited to: Big Bopper Jr., the Blind Boys of Alabama, Sonny Geraci, Ian Hunter, JOAN JETT, Gerald LeVert and Darlene Love. The event will take place at the CSU Convocation Center. Stadium seating tickets are available for $50. Tickets go on sale to members on March 15 and to non-members on March 20.
