2015 tour schedule. The 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have added new U.S. dates, which will include 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, JOAN JETT.
According to an update posted Jan. 5 on their official Facebook page, the veteran Seattle hard rockers fronted by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson, have confirmed new shows in March with special guests JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS. Dates include March 18 in Manakato, Minnestoa, at Verizon Wireless Centre and March 25 in Sioux City, Iowa, at Tyson Events Centre (Gateway Arena).
Presales for the dates begin Tuesday, Jan. 6. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, Jan. 10.
Jett, who will also spend much of 2015 touring North America as special guest on The Who Hits! 50 Tour, made a connection with Heart when they teamed for charity to headline the Kiss the Sky! The Orca Freedom Concert last spring in the Wilson sisters' hometown. Heart and Jett's team up will precede the ex-RUNAWAYS guitarist's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 18 in Cleveland, Ohio, at Public Hall. Both artists will also be among the musical guests slated to perform at The Foo Fighters' 20 anniversary bash on July 4 in Washington, D.C., at RFK Stadium.
Heart fans can check out the band's upcoming performing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," which will air Jan. 5 on ABC. Check out local listings for times in your area.
The "Alone" hit-makers recently release at holiday DVD "Heart & Friends - Home for the Holidays." The concert originally aired via AXS TV on Dec. 12, 2013 at the beautiful Benaroya Symphony Concert Hall in Seattle. The show features holiday songs and Heart classics with the help of special guests, including: Shawn Colvin, Sammy Hagar, Richard Marx and Train frontman Pat Monahan.
Heart will get the year rocking with dates in New Zealand, which kick off Jan. 24 in Taupo, N.Z., at Unison Amphitheatre before returning to North America for their U.S. run, beginning Feb. 20 in Biloxi, Mississippi, at Hard Rock Casino & Resort.
