PASO ROBLES (CA) Ð The California Mid-State Fair is pleased to announce that JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS and Paul Rodgers of Bad Company are both set to perform on Thursday, July 26, 2012 @ 7:30p in the Main Grandstand Arena.

Ticket prices for the show are $25, $35, and $55 and will go on sale Friday, June 8th at 10:00a. Tickets will be available at the California Mid-State Fair box office (2198 Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles), any ValliTix location, on-line at www.midstatefair.com or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR.

JOAN JETT is the lead singer of the hard-rocking BLACKHEARTS. She has enjoyed much success with eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles. She is best known for her classic hits "Bad Reputation," "I Love Rock 'N' Roll," "Crimson and Clover," and "I Hate Myself For Loving You." She has released a two-disc Greatest Hits album that highlights her three-decade-plus career. Jett has appeared in a Tony-nominated Broadway musical, The Rocky Horror Show, and in the 1987 film, Light Of Day. Jett is also a producer and has overseen albums by Bikini Kill, Circus Lupus, as well as the Germs' LA punk masterpiece, GI.

Paul Rodgers has been dubbed, "The Voice" by critics and fans alike, leading four bands to international success. Rodgers first shot up the international radio charts with his single "All Right Now" with Free. He is most well known for his time with the band Bad Company and smash hits like Grammy nominated "Feel Like Making Love," "Can't Get Enough," "Shooting Star," and "Bad Company." He went on to front the rock bands The Law and The Firm. In 1999 Paul Rodgers won the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Los Angeles Music Awards Association.

The 2012 California Mid-State Fair runs July 18, 2012, through July 29, 2012. This year's theme is "The Great American Road Trip."
