Joan to Host Independent Eye 2001

The seventh season of MPT's annual showcase of the best independent films and videos from up and coming producers and directors are premiering Sunday, April 22, 2001 at 11:00 P.M.
Hosting this year's series is international rock star JOAN JETT, a staunch supporter of the independent artist movement and founder of the first commercially successful woman-owned independent rock and roll record label, BLACKHEART RECORDS. Jett, a native of Maryland, can currently be seen in the Broadway production of the "Rocky Horror Picture Show."
