Album was recorded at Kingdom Sound in Syosset, New York in 1983. Later that same year it was released on Blackheart/ MCA Records. " Star Star" was originally included only on the cassette version of Album and on the b-side of the 12-inch dance mix for " Everyday People."

" Nitetime" was originally released as the b-side of the single, " Fake Friends." When " Nitetime" originally appeared, Bob Ludwig at Masterdisk locked the groove at the end of the record. This created an endless groove which was only stopped by picking the tone arm up off the record. " Locked Groove" (recorded from and actual vinyl 45) represents the effect that was created by the locked groove at the end of the single, " Nitetime."
" Wait For Me," " Who Can You Trust" and " Scratch My Back" were recorded during the sessions for Album and are previously unreleased. -- Danny Solazzi
